The mission of the Finance Department is to ensure fiscal responsibility to the citizens. It is responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, processing accounts payable and payroll, and cash and debt management.
The City of Bel Aire was awarded the
Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA)
Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the 2016 Budget. This is the third consecutive year that Bel AIre has received this award.
