Initially, 37th Street will close October 10th for approximately two weeks for construction of a drainage culvert between Cozy Drive and Whispering Brooks. 37th will then close for approximately six weeks for construction of a drainage culvert and road improvements at the railroad tracks. Upon re-opening, 37th Street will be one lane westbound only through the remainder of construction. Electronic message signs will notify motorists several days in advance of the closures. Access to residences and business along 37th Street will be maintained during construction, with modified access provided as possible. Driveways within the project limits will be reconstructed. Access into neighborhoods will be maintained during construction of side street intersections either through the use of alternate side streets or by phasing of construction activity. Intermittent flagging of traffic may occur during work hours.
