At their meeting last night, City Council approved the first step towards the design solution for the failing roadway. PEC will be on-site today (Wednesday, March 20th) and tomorrow (Thursday, March 21st) to install monitoring wells and collect additional subsurface information. The monitoring wells will remain in place through 2-3 storm events. Once the information is collected, the City will begin working towards a design solution for the failing roadway. We understand the desire for a swift resolution; however, we want to take the time to ensure that roadway is reconstructed in a manner that will withstand the subsurface water and provide the citizens a roadway that will last for years to come.
