City Council Opening, Apply by June 7

Opening on City Council

A City Council seat has become available and residents who may be interested in being appointed can submit a letter of interest and resume. You may apply by submitting these items online via our application form, in an email to jbenage@belaireks.gov, or by mail to Jim Benage at 7651 E. Central Park Avenue, Bel Aire, KS 67226.

Submissions are due by June 7, 2024. 


  1. There are limited seats available and membership requires appointment by the mayor with confirmation by City Council. After applications are received, City staff will review and a selection will be determined no later than September 4, 2024. Background check and disclosure of monetary contributions may be required.


    Thank you for your interest in serving the Bel Aire community.
