City Clerk
The City Clerk strives to provide quality service and information to the citizens, the City Council and City Staff; prepares and provides City Council information, including agendas and minutes, ordinances, resolutions and contracts; and receives and processes open record requests.
City Code
The City Clerk maintains the Municipal Code or "City Code" book. The City partners with Ranson City-Code Financial to publish an up-to-date, online, searchable City Code.
Ordinances
The City partners with Laserfiche to make copies of online, searchable Ordinances available to the public.
Open Records
The City Clerk is the public information officer for the City of Bel Aire. This office is responsible for coordinating with city departments and ensuring that all Open Record Requests are processed in a timely fashion with the Kansas Open Records Act and city procedures.
For open records requests, please fill out the Open Record Request Form . Records will be provided based on available format.

Permits for Mobile, Temporary, or Door-to-Door Sales/Soliciting
Most door-to-door sales/marketing and sales from mobile or temporary locations (such as ice cream trucks, tents, etc.) are regulated by City Code Chapter 3 Article 3 . Each individual person engaged in sales/soliciting must submit an application, consent to a background check, provide a photo ID, and pay a fee. Applications will be processed within 3-5 business days after they are received by the City.
